William Zabka Full name is William Michael Zabka, he was born on October 20, 1965, in New York City. He is the son of Stan Zabka, a director, writer, and composer. His mother is Nancy, a business liaison, producer, and production assistant. Zabka is one of two siblings, a brother, and a sister.
His parents influenced him to work in the cinema industry; his father was the assistant director of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and many other movies.
In 1983, he graduated from El Camino Real Charter High School in Los Angeles, and then he attended California State University, Northridge, and majored in film.
Career
William Zabka’s first role was in the 1984 American martial art movie “The Karate Kid”. This movie inspired him to start learning the martial art of Tang Soo Do and he later earned a second-degree green belt.
In 1985 Zabka appeared in “Just One of the Guys” and in “Back to School” the following year. He also co-starred in the CBS television series “The Equalizer”, an American spy thriller television series.
Zabka plays the role of Jack, Audrey’s jock boyfriend, in National Lampoon’s European Vacation in 1985. In 2003 while continuing his filmmaking studies, he wrote and produced the short film “Most”.
